Delivery & Returns
Intelligent Workshop operates a 2 tier delivery policy. All orders with a total cart value below £30 will be charged at a flat rate of £4.49. Total cart values above £30 will be delivered for free. In exceptional circumstances where a product is unusually bulky or heavy, there may be an exception to this rule. These will be clearly marked on the product page and in the shopping cart.
All low value or small items are delivered using the Royal Mail service and have a 2-3 day lead time. Larger items or higher value items will be shipped via a 48hr courier service. Where possible, we will offer tracking information. We aim to dispatch the same day, but if an order is placed after 4pm it may go onto the next day's delivery schedule
Intelligent Workshop does ship some of it's products overseas. Unfortunately due to complications with our website software, we cannot automatically generate a shipping price for you. To obtain a shipping quote, please complete the sale in the normal manner. The order will come through to us, but your card will not be charged. We will then get back to you with a shipping quote. You can then either accept the charges and proceed, or cancel the order. Your card is only charged once you accept the shipping fees.
Please Note: We obtain the most cost effective shipping solution for your convenience. For smaller, lighter items, we use Royal Mail's AirSure service. Whilst we have a good delivery success rate with this service, orders can often be delayed. As a bare minimum, items will take between 7-10 days to arrive. Depending on the destination country, customs procedures and other delays, it is not unusual for deliveries to exceed this timeframe. We ask International customers to be prepared to wait up to 28 days for their item to arrive in some circumstances. Regardless of timeframe, you we guarantee the delivery of your item or a full refund.
All unwanted orders can be returned within 14 days, assuming the product has not been opened or use and is still in a saleable condition. If the item arrives damaged, we will replace it within 3 days of it's return. In both circumstances, we ask that you inform us as soon as possible and we will inform you how to return your item. The exception to these conditions is when a Manufacturer (such as Festool) offer longer returns policies, which we will adhere to.
